The Bloomington Lions Club has been active since 1928. We support our local and international community through hands-on service and donations.
We are one club among the many in Lions Club International, a worldwide organization with a presence in over 200 countries, including China and Iraq. The Bloomington Lions are thereby able to extend our service from city, state, and even national borders to programs and institutions worldwide.
On a local level, we seek opportunities to improve the quality of life for those in our community by actively participating in Lions-initiated and non-Lion activities. Our initiatives are a result of collaboration between community need, membership interest, and our Club Mission.
To accomplish these goals, our Club also raises and contributes funds. We welcome community organizations and individuals to come to us for guidance and, when needed and as the club determines, financial or material support. We have many community partnerships.
